Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is an international humanitarian organization working in the Southeast Asian Region for the past 50 years. To help achieve our growth and mission critical objectives for the region, we are recruiting for this position to be based in our regional office in Jakarta.

Regional IT Officer - Southeast Asia
Responsibilities:
• Our Regional IT Adviser for Southeast Asia will direct, oversee and supervise the business processes related to information and communication technologies (ICT) for the region, covering the major country programs offices in South East Asia.
• The incumbent will be expected to coordinate with each country IT staff to ensure implementation of our strategic priorities and organizational plan, using the most appropriate and cost effective solutions. All information management systems such as computer hardware/software, its maintenance, compliance and support, will fall under his/her supervision, and he/she will ensure high quality professional IT processes in all offices
• As the primary liaison between headquarters and the region, he/she will also provide leadership and advice on matters such as new technology, information security and appropriate ways growing the IT function into becoming a strategic partner of the organization.

Requirements:
PROFESSIONAL:
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) 2003 Certification
• Cisco router certification preferred
• University degree in computer science, electronic and/or communication engineering or related fields
• Four or more years of progressively responsible professional experience in ICT
• Senior level capabilities and demonstrated understanding of ICT systems.
• Experience and up to date knowledge of latest/ current hardware and software technologies especially in the Southeast Asian region

• Ability to express technical ideas and concerns in a non-technical environment
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and organize to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong cross-cultural skills, ability to adapt to varied physical work environments.
• Able to deal effectively with others in a diverse team environment.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; excellent written and oral communication skills.
